Saskatoon: Joi Arcand

This week Saskatoon presents Joi Arcand. Joi is a photo-based artist also working in installation and digital media.

JS: What are you working on right now?

JA: I am working on an embroidery series based on historic photographs.

JS: Is your work currently on display anywhere?

JA: I have some work showing in Seattle at the North Seattle College Art Gallery from Feb 18-Mar 20.

JS: What’s your day job?

JA: I am a freelance designer, I quit my day job 1 year ago and I haven’t looked back.

JS: Where are you from?

JA: I’m from Muskeg Lake Cree Nation
